OrganoFloc

What is it and how does it work?

Organo-Floc is a vegetable based cationic organic polymer that coagulates, flocculates and can be used as an auxiliary flocculation agent. Organo-Floc neutralises charges while creating electronic bonds causing flocks to form in the water that is being treated.

Organo-Floc does not change the pH of the treated water and performs effectively from pH 4.5 – 8. Organo-Floc is 100% biodegradable and very effective in reducing COD, BOD, turbidity and colour, and it has been used in treating wastewater from production of palm oil, tanneries, paper and pulp production and petrolchemicals.

Organo-Floc is certified ISO 14001, National Sanitation Foundation, Halal and Forest Stewardship Council.

ORGANO-floc CGD LIQUID acts as:

  • Coagulant
  • Flocculant
  • Auxiliary flocculation agent

ORGANO-floc CGD LIQUID has a wide range of applications based on previous trials using the jar-test.

Packaging

ORGANO-floc CGD LIQUID is packed in 200kg drum.

Applications

Some of the recommended application for ORGANO-floc CGD LIQUID:

  • Waste water of metallurgy, pulp and paper, tanneries, food and chemicals industries, in primary or secondary treatment plants.
  • Petrochemical waste waters, on the secondary treatment of integrated systems.
  • Rubber industry, reducing suspended solids and reducing COD/BOD.
  • Drinking water treatment, on conventional and compact treatment plants.

Storage

Organo-floc CGD maintains its characteristics of coagulant and flocculant unchanged if property stored in dry premises, ventilated room, protected from sunlight. Inadequate conditions and a prolonged storage period may cause stability changes such as viscosity increasing.
